There is an alienating presence which pervades every waking moment. One which cannot be meekly ignored or disregarded. For there are those who have no interaction with the human hive, who do not exist eye to eye or on anyone’s wavelength. They are gaslight by fake simulacra, constantly. And even if you know it, they perpetuate it.
They just keep doing so. It is good to bash a computer screen in theory, in practice they remain tragically untouchable. I for once speak without filter, knowing full well the prying eyes seek any vulnerability in others to exploit in the system that exists to rip you away from what you are and become nothing more than a drone in the hive. And what makes it so much more terrible, incomprehensibly terrible is how the function of this present existence is one of making artificial scarcities since your suffering is preferable to even the slightest hint at a windfall clause or other such systems that become the byproduct of hyper automation. The isolation is by design. To isolate you, devalue you, than because you aren’t a perfect robot, exterminate you. It is a sad state of affairs how the lesson that humans aren’t Machines and shouldn’t be treated as such was so readily forgotten. Automation of labor should be a step to a better state of societal being, yet who benefits? It isn’t you or me. It isn’t the workers, it isn’t anyone who we would consider community in a less broken country. No, it’s the same people who let civilization rot for the past 47 years.
So that leaves me not even wanting to “contribute”, since what is there to contribute to again? To corrupt elites? To people who my whole life at best, treated me as some defective? I struggle to see any reason to. I have my own affairs to attend to. But you see, they know people wouldn’t voluntarily “contribute”. They have cudgels. They see your autism as high functioning, so they deny you all benefits. They see you do well in school, so they claim you cured even as you go without networking, friends or even a supportive family. No, they want you to die alone and miserable. And that is the weak coercion…
